Our experience with entrepreneurs has taught us that there is not just one curriculum to meet your needs. We specialize in tailor-fit business assistance because when it comes to startups, one size does not fit all.

Awardees in the program will:

  • Work one-on-one with a dedicated Principal Advisor (PA) with relevant experience in the life sciences to develop a commercialization roadmap or a "targeted outcome" in one of the two available tracks. In doing so, you will identify and develop customers for your NSF-funded technology and obtain advice on financing strategy, regulatory approach, and fundraising. This creates, and/or refines, an action plan for your commercialization effort.
    • Commercialization Transition Track (CTT) – Suitable for companies with little or no commercialization history, you will receive the tools to understand and put into practice the commercialization plans critical to your company’s stage, level, and background while receiving direct industry feedback from a PA throughout the program, and domain experts as needed.
    • Advanced Commercialization Track (ACT) – Suitable for companies with some history of accomplishment in commercialization, you will focus on a specific “gap” or applicable issue whose resolution is crucial to your company’s continued progress and development with the aid of domain experts to achieve your set outcomes.
  • Participate in a custom feedback session (Washington, D.C.) to receive candid input from industry and investment professionals on your go-to-market approach and strategy.
